This week we have caught up with Taylor at 'Taylor Made Designs'... You may see her gorgeous window murals in your local town... We chatted about her small business that she decided to start amongst the pandemic and how her designs could be the perfect gifts for those people who are moving home!
A little about you? Hi, my name is Taylor and I am the creator of Taylor Made Designs! I am 24 and am a makeup artist within the fashion industry, but also created my new business Taylor Made Designs this year. I love the outdoors, to travel and am a huge dog lover!
Favourite thing about the area I live? I must say my favourite thing is definitely how lucky we are to live near the coast and the water. I love the beach and outdoors so a long walk is my favourite thing to do!
How and why did you start your business? I started this business during the crazy year of 2020 and when lockdown hit. I am a makeup artist in the fashion industry and after not being able to work I wanted to make use of my artistry skills in another way, so I started doing digital portraits, drawings, and window artwork. It started as a way to work in these uncertain times and it really has turned into an absolute passion and love!
What unique gift ideas do you have for people moving home?
I create hand drawn digital drawings of new homes which are perfect to gift to a friend or yourself. They are a lovely printed way to remember a special move whether that be a new home, first home or a special family home you are selling and want to remember.
